Abstract
This article selects the communicative methodology as a main method of English teaching for vocational higher education. It points out that class activities including conversation, discussion, games and so on among students are the center of English teaching, and the students' communication in English while having classes is a success. Moreover, the student-centered communicative methodology is in agreement with the aim of vocational education to cultivate the operating and applying talent, so it will be a way to solving the English teaching problems of vocational education. At the same time, the article comes up with other methods to arouse students' interest in English learning.
