Abstract

The process that putting geographic data into database and developing an examples using ArcSDE is introduced. It built the database using ArcSDE for Oracle and achieved the storage of the space data and attribute data using ArcSDE,it completed the data warehouse work and the development work which needn't to interact with the database directly. The system uses C / S( Client / Server) model,completed the data warehouse work with the related geographical information data in the client and developed the example using the environment of Visual studio2005 + C# language development and ArcEngine( AE) in the server. It achieved the function of putting geographic data into database,querying,browsing,managing and so on.
