Critiques on "Modernity"——Some Meta-considerations of "Modernity"

Seeing that the contents of what scholars have talked about in the name of are usually very different,or the under meanings of the word used by scholars are usually very different,and in order that the modernity being talked about by scholars can deserve an earnest treatment,or in order to discuss about modernity effectually,this paper,based on the usages of the word and some related words in linguistic practice,endeavors to reveal and review some antecedent issues involved in the discussion of modernity(mainly the issues related to the essence,type and evaluation of modernity),in expectation of provoking the attention of academia to these issues.
