Clinical Study on Parenteral Nutrition Through Peripheral Vein Inserted Central Catheter

Abstract

Objective: To study method and sense of parenteral nutrition through peripheral vein inserted central catheter. Methods: To review and analyse 150 patients used peripheral vein inserted central catheter (PICC) on doing parenteral nutrition retrospectively. Results: 129(86%)cases were successful ,and 21 cases failed,and no serious complications.Conclusion: PICC on doing parenteral nutrition is safely and simple.[
