Observation on clinical effect of Omeprazole combined with amoxicillin and metronidazole treatment on Helicobacter pylori infection

OBJECTIVE To investigate the clinical effect of Omeprazole combined with amoxicillin and metronidazole treatment on Helicobacter pylori infection.METHODS 92 cases of Helicobacter pylori infection in patients from January 2008 to December 2010 in our department were chosen as the research subjects.They were randomly divided into the experimental group(Omeprazole combined with amoxicillin and metronidazole group)with 46 cases and the control group(Omeprazole and metronidazole group)with 46 cases.The effect after treatment,satisfaction and healing rate of ulcer,eradication rate of bacteria,length of stay for patients of the two groups were taken for statistics and comparison.RESULTS The effect and level of satisfaction and healing rate of ulcer,eradication rate of H.pylori in the experiment group were significantly higher,and with fewer hospital days,P﹤0.05,there was a significant difference.CONCLUSION The clinical effect for Omeprazole combined with amoxicillin and metronidazole treatment on Helicobacter pylori infection is better,so it should widely used in patients with these diseases.
