Abstract
In order to study the measurement of total flavonoids content in citrus peels by ultraviolet spectrophotometry and make methodological observation. Based on the contents of linear range, precision, repeatability, stability and the average recovery, the method was studied whether it was feasible. This method had good correlation( R2= 0. 999 9) and the linear range was 0. 01 ~ 0. 05 g / L. The result of recovery experiment was great and the stability( RSD = 1. 34%) was favorable. So using UV spectrophotometry to detect the content of total flavonoids content in citrus peels is a kind of simple and accurate method.
