On Literary Effect of the Writing Style of Imperial Examinations in the Late Ming Dynasty

In the late Ming Dynasty,a lot of literary societies that studied stereotyped writing and created poetry and prose emerged.Many writers in the late Ming Dynasty were cultivated by literary societies and they were famous in literary arena,who were the chief literary group in literary arena.Those who were going to take part in the Imperial Examinations had to accept the training of the examination and stereotyped writing,and at the same time they must be engaged in creative writing of poetry and prose.Thus their way of thinking had a far-reaching effect on the creative writing of poetry and prose.This formed Confucian ancient writings which based on six meridians,or shaped the fashionable writings in late Ming Dynasty which resorted to ancient writings.Literary creation and theory criticism in the late Ming Dynasty have distinct characteristics than those in the past.
