Abstract

Piston is one of the most important components in a motor.Its terrible thermal load always causes fatigue breakdown.With the thermal field we may design the structure of a piston on purpose and reduce its thermal load.The thermal field is calculated with Ansys and Hyper Mesh.Our thermal experiment helps calculating the 3-dimensional thermal field.By means of that we can optimize the piston and ensure its dependability.
