Difficult Position and Reflections on Secondary Vocational Education

Secondary Vocational Education has got into trouble in the past few years.The concrete problems are:there is a serious shortage of new students;the distribution of vocational schools is not rational; specialities have fallen behind and vocational schools are weak in the conditions of training.The vocational education in the elementary、secondary and higher levels hasn’t been united completely.Therefore,we must gain the unity in thinking and recognition,improve and reorganize the vocational education resource,and have major layout in the lead.The training in technology must be in advance of others. We should develop higher vocational education to promote secondary vocational education.We can also make good use of our vocational education resources available to provide all kinds of vocational trainings for in service people and people without jobs.
