Administrative Reform in China:The Situation and Path

Taking a broad perspective of administrative reform,this paper tries to evaluate the role of the administrative system and the shortcomings.In order to promote a comprehensive administrative system reform to a new situation,we should further accelerate the transformation of government functions and continue to push the system reform.Weshould maintain a reasonable siza of government and build a consrevation-oriented government;we should also reduce the administrative level,and adiust the administrative division.What is more,we should carry on the reform of the taxation system and adjust the relationship between central and local governments,so as to enable the administrative system to bring into full play in the process of China's reform and opening up.
