The Path Selection on Improving the Administrative Performance of Local Government

Local government is the most direct administrative authority serving the people,and therefore,is the ultimate carrier of the effective implementation of public policy.Among them,the administrative performance is an important measure of the administrative activities.It is both the main embodiment of government capacity and the comprehensive index to evaluate the working conditions of the government.Improving the administrative efficiency is the starting point and destination of administration study and administrative reform.With the deepening of the reform and opening up,the performance of local government encounters many difficulties,and it is urgent to conduct in-depth and systematic exploration on the reform of administrative performance.The author explores the present situation,problems and coping strategies of the reform of local government performance from two dimensions:administrative efficiency and administrative capacity.
