Determination of interrelated parameters of red blood cells and blood platelets of cirrhosis sufferers and its clinic significance

Objective To study the clinic significance of the relationship between patients conditions and MCV,RDW and changes in platelets parameters of cirrhosis sufferers.Methods The research work was done by using automatic blood-analysing machines(Model NIHONKOHDEK-6318K) to exame MCV,RDW,PLT,MPV,PCT and PDW of 43 cases of cirrhosis.Results (1)MCV,RDW and PDW were evidently higher than the compared group(P0.01),PLT,MPV and PCT were evidently lower than the compared group(P0.01).(2)The interrelation between MCV and RDW was positively correlated,PLT,MPV and PCT were positively correlated and PLT,MPV and PDW were negatively correlated.Conclusions It is very significant to determine the parameters of MCV,RDW and blood platelets of cirrhosis sufferers on preliminarily evaluating the degree of impairment of liver function and judging the inclination to liver hemorrhage.
