The Confucian benevolence is a kind of value theory based on a philosophical sense and a strong ethical color of consanguinity community,whose tenet is to show love,ethical responsibility and social order.In traditional Confucian benevolence,graded love is first,equality is second,and freedom is moral autonomy and self-discipline.Now we should inherit and give the Confucian benevolence new meaning,whose key is to improve the people's thought.Love and equality are the same and at the same time the reasonable factors of the Western freedom should be introduced.Only in this way can the Confucian benevolence be adapted to reasonable differentiation and people's requirement of equality in modern society.
