Abstract
Family rules, the important components parts of family system, had played an important role on maintaining feudal family order. But family rules in different dynasty had different character istics as a result of economy, politics and society, so they had different standard on women. The article probes into the difference between Song and Ming-Qing dynasty, and tries to find the reason.
