Abstract
Prenatal ultrasound screening is the most simple and effective way to identify the fetal congenital heart diseases. Fetal echocardiography screening has different levels, which should be applied to different stages of pregnancy in order to increase the detection rate of fetal heart abnormalities. The routine ultrasound examination aims at preliminary screening for fetal heart abnormalities, while systematic ultrasonic examination can detect most of the fetal heart abnormalities. If necessary, complex congenital heart disease in most fetuses can be definitely diagnosed through fetal ultrasound heartbeat graph examination.
