Abstract

Objective:To analyze the testing result of donors from two universities in Zhangye city in order to provide basis for recruiting donor groups in universities. Methods: HBsAg, anti-HCV,anti-HIV,anti-TP and ALT of five infectious indexes were analyzed retrospectively during 2009 ~2012. The infectious index were obtained from 4255 donors with age in rang of 18 ~25 in two universities of this city(One was a medical college, another was a normal college). Results: For college students, fraction defective of HBsAg,anti-HCV,anti-HIV,anti-TP,ALT were as follows, boys:1.75%,1.06%,0,0 and 2.37%, respectively; girls: 1.39%, 0.60%,0.26%,0.45%,and 0.30%,respectively. As comparison, the precisions for fraction defective of infectious index were below 0.01. Conclusion: Health propaganda and education in colleges and universities should be strengthened to ensure the safety of blood transfusion.
