Analysis of the fall of feudal families from the novel A Dream of Red Mansions

By narrating the rise and fall of the Jia's family,the novel A Dream of Red Mansions reveals the corruption of feudal families and the collapse of the feudal system.Upon the analysis of the social background under which CAO Xue-qin wrote the story,this paper tries to show both the characteristics of the feudal society of China and the contradictions and conflicts among different social classes.From the novel,it can be seen that the feudal society started being faced with the challenges from the inevitable historical tendency-going to the devil from then on.
