Academic Viewpoints on "Feudalism" and "Feudal Society" in Recent Years

In recent years more and more scholars held that China experienced system only in the Western Zhou period,and Chinese from Qin to late Qing Dynasty shouldn't be regarded as society. In this phase, Chinese social condition was rather different from European society,and had a far distance from the economic features generalized by Stalin.They criticized the abuse of the term feudal and made efforts to replace the term society with new concepts,adopted new theory system in narrating the history from Qin to late Qing Dynasty. Some scholars noticed major contradictions in ancient Chinese should be not simply generalized as the contradiction between the landlord class and the peasant class.It is expectant that in the futrue a major breakthrough in thought on would appear.
