Interpretation of Classics and “Establishment of Morality”

Textual interpretation is a central issue in the research of hermeneutics.Before modern hermeneutics formed,interpretation was textual understanding ofclassics.In the modern hermeneutics,interpretation shifts its focus to the test in the general sense;even some put forward the idea that there is onlytextwithoutclassics.Through comparison,it is concluded that it is necessary to integrate thought resources in China and the West in order to interpretate Chinese hermeneutics,which can totally be materialized.Chinese hermeneutics should focus onestablishment of morality,whose theory isclassic hermeneutics.
