The Rise of Chinese Hermeneutics

The rise of studies on Chinese hermeneutics is closely related to the popularity and introduction of western hermeneutics.However,there are some more fundamental reasons.In fact,to establish a kind of modern hermeneutics has been the inherent and nameless requirement and career of modern Chinese civilization and now is even seen as an important historical mission that Chinese scholars should undertake consciously in the Post-Western Era.This kind of discussions from the perspective of universal movement of modernity will help us get a deeper understanding of the significance of hermeneutics in modern society and of the theoretical basis of the concept ofChinese hermeneutics.
