Abstract

C5/C6 paraffin isomerization was carried out on solid superacid catalyst GCS-1 developed by RIPP.The influences of temperature,velocity,pressure and hydrogen/hydrocarbon mole ratio on the isomerization reaction were investigated,and suitable reaction conditions were confirmed.1000 h life test under these conditions demonstrated that the catalyst GCS-1 exhibited high iomerization activity and good stability.Compared with the first generation zeolite isomerization catalyst FI-15 of RIPP,the new generation catalyst GCS-1 is more active under the conditions of the reaction temperature 70℃ lower than usually used temperature and twice feedstock velocity,C5/C6 paraffin isomerization conversion can be improved greatly and the isomerate RON can be increased by 2 numbers.
