Effect of preparation conditions on isomerization performance of solid superacid Pt-SO_4~(2-)/ZrO_2-Al_2O_3

Abstract

To study the isomerization performance of complex support superacid catalyst,the preparation conditions of Pt-SO2-4/ZrO2-Al2O3 were investigated.The performance of catalyst was tested on a high-pressure microreactor with online chromatogram unit by using n-pentane isomerization as a probe reaction.The effect of preparation conditions,such as the calcination temperature,the mass fraction of Al2O3,the concentration of H2SO4,the mass fraction of Pt and activation temperature,etc,on the performance of catalysts was studied.The catalysts were characterized by XRD,BET,FT-IR,et al.The results show that the optimal preparing conditions are Al2O3 mass fraction 5%,impregnating with 0.5 mol/L H2SO4 solution,Pt mass fraction 0.10%,calcining at 650 ℃ and activating at 300 ℃.The isopentane yield can reach 61.3% at 220 ℃.The catalyst is simple for preparing,environment-friendly and highly potential in industrial application.
