Abstract

Objective:To study the chromosome variation in mental retardation , genital abnormalities and gonads degenerate patients. Methods:Karyotype analysis of the peripheral blood lymphocytes were carried out with G-banding. Results:29.4% (73 /248) of the patients was identified to have abnormal chromosome. Conclusions:Karyotype analysis is one of the main approaches in diagnosis of the chromosomal diseases.
