Clinical Observation on Bushen Zhuanggu Decoction on Rheumatoid Arthritis

Abstract

Objective Bushen Zhuanggu Decoction in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis(RA) clinical curative effect.Methods 61 RA patients were randomly divided into two groups:31 cases in treatment group,taking a Bushen Zhuanggu Decoction daily,morning and evening each 200mL,30 cases in small doses,taking 10mg prednisone,once daily,on waking up.Both groups were given nimesulide.Results After the 2 months course,the clinical curative effects of the 2 groups were significantly different(P0.05),that in the control group was better than that in treatment group.And the 2 groups were observed significant improvement after treatment(P0.05).Conclusion Bushen Zhuanggu Decoction can effectively relieve RA symptoms,improve patients joint function,effect of which is similar to that of hormones.Although the effect is not equal to prednisone,but without adverse reactions when using prednisone.
