Effects of Anwei decoction on EGF of gastric ulcer in rats

Abstract

Objective To investigate the mechanism of Anwei decoction in treatment of chronic gastric ulcer.Methods The effects of Anwei decoction on the changes of EGF in serum and the EGF expression in gastric mucosa in experimental rats were measured with radioim-munoassay staining and immunohistologic staining,and the EGF expression was analyzed the images.Results Compared with the model group,the changes of EGF in Anwei decoction and Ranitidine groups were evidently increased(P0.01),the strengthening effect of EGF in gastric mucosa in the two groups were better(P0.01),and the effect in Anwei decoction group was better than that in Ranitidine group(P0.05);Compared with the model group,Anwei decoction and Ranitidine could evidently enhanced the EGF expression in gastric mucosa(P0.01),the high dose of Anwei decoction was better than Ranitidine(P0.01).Conclusion Anwei decoction may enhance EGF in serum and the EGF expression in gastric mucosa to promote coalescence of the ulcer
