Abstract
Objective To evalute the clinical effect of Methylprednisolone on primary nephritic syndrome. Methods 47 adult patients with incipient primary nephritic syndrome were divide into two groups, one group was treated with oral Methylprednisolone, while the other was treated with Prednisolone. Results Methylprednisolone was more effective than Prednisolone in reducing urine protein and increasing serum albumin,it had higher effective ratio and lower recurrence ratio than the latter. Conclusions Methylprednisolone is an effective therapy in adult patients with incipient primary nephritic syndrome.
