Abstract
Chaokewenduoer gold (copper, molybdenum)deposit, a polymetallic ore deposit in the western of the Inner Mongolia ,was found by Tianjin institute of Geology and Mineral Resources during the investigation of the geochemical exploration in 2005. After two years of geological survey work, a number of gold, copper, molybdenum independent or symbiosis ore (mineralized) body were found. The ore body mainly occur in the NW-trending fractured zone of Permian system, and main parts of which are blind ore bodies, showing a good prospecting. Through analyzing on the metallogenic and geochemical characteristics of ore bodies, mineralization and alteration, the authors consider preliminary that metallogenic materials of this deposit originate from hypomagma. The deposit belongs to sub-volcanic-hydrothermal type gold (copper, molybdenum) deposit, which is related to hydrothermal solution and controlled by fractures.
