Abstract
A new catalytic spectrophotometric method was established for the determination of trace manganese. The method was based on the catalytic effect of Mn(Ⅱ) on the oxidative discoloration of crystal violet with potassium periodate in the buffer medium of HAc-NaAc,with nitrilotriacetic acid as activator. The determination range was 0.2~ 8.0 μg/L and the detection limit was 0.076 μg/L with the relative standard deviation of 1.6%(n=11).The method was used to determine trace manganese in foodstuff with satisfactory results.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
