Abstract

Objective To observe the plasma level's change of the brain natriuretic peptide(BNP) in patients with heart failure and explore its clinical significance. Methods All the subjects were divided into three groups:the heart failure group, the non-heart failure group and the control group.Their N-tape BNP levels were measured by the Biosite Diagnostics. The data were analyzed by SPSS11.0.Results The BNP level in heart failure group was significant higher than that of the non-heart failure group and the control group(P0.05).There was no significance between the non-heart failure group and the control group(P0.05).There was a significant negative correlation between the BNP level and the ejection fraction in heart failure group. Conclusion The plasma level of BNP is significant abnormal in patients with heart failure, this can reflect the status of heart function.
