Effect of Tongxinluo on the Serous Fibrinogen and C-reactive Protein in the Patients of Unstable Angina Pectoris

Abstract

Objective To observe the level changes of serous fibrinogen(FBG)and C-reactive protein in the patients with unstable angina pectoris(UA)before and after treatment,then assesses the curative effect of Tongxinluo capsule.Methods Sixty patients with UA were divided randomly into two groups,which were respectively treated with basic drugs alone and combination of basic drugs and Tongxinluo capsule.The concentrations of serous FBG and serum CRP were measured before and after treatment.Results The serous FBG and CRP concentration decreased significantly after the treatment of Tongxinluo(P0.01).However,there was not significant deviation before and after the treatment of basic drugs alone(P0.05).Conclusions Tongxinluo capsule could actively suppress thrombogenesis and inflammatory reaction in patients of unstable angina pectoris.
