Abstract

Objective:To investigate the incidence of post-stroke depression and related factors, and understand the paroxetine clinical effect of PSD.Methods:52 patients with depression after stroke patients were randomly divided into treatment group and control group and the control group received conventional treatment of nervous system drugs and support.Treatment group and control group on the basis of the same treatment plus paroxetine 20 to 40 mg/d,treatment was 8 weeks. The use of common evaluation methods, two groups of patients were recorded before and after treatment, respectively, after 8 weeks of the index, and its statistical analysis. Results:The incidence of depression was 36.88%,after 8 weeks treatment, both groups of the above indicators, the difference was significant(P0.05),two groups of patients with HAMD,NIHSS score was significantly decreased, and the treatment treated group HAMD,NIHSS score lower than the control group HAMD,NIHSS score, the difference was statistically significant(P 0.05),after treatment, the effective rate was 92.31%(24/26),the effective rate of the control group after treatment 53.85%(14/26),and the difference was statistically significant(P0.05).Conclusion:Paroxetine is effective in improving depression in patients with post-stroke depression, and can improve neurological function and activities of daily living, and adverse reactions, safety is good.
