Abstract

This paper,based on The Analects,analyzes Confucius' teaching of Confucian It concerns the identification of Gentleman ,the Way of the Gentleman,and the reality and falsity of Gentleman. The clarification of these issues can help to understand the differences between Confucius' teaching and Socrates' teaching.
