Abstract
Making alcohol with the hydrolyzate of crop straw was considered as a potential way to the development of renewable energy. The key to achieve success in this pathway was promoting the efficient and low-cost hydrolysis conversion to reducing sugar of straw components. In this experiment, wheat straw was used as raw materials, and dilutes sulfuric acid used as hydrolysis catalyst, and fractional hydrolysis process of the straw components was studied. The effects of four main factors included acid concentration, total solids content of raw materials, reaction time and reaction temperature were investigated through orthogonal experiments.Under the optimized conditions of fractional hydrolysis technology, high conversion rate of raw materials and high yield of reducing sugar would be achieved.
