Abstract
Objective:To investigate the expression of tumor suppressor gene P33ING1 in bladder transitional cell carcinoma and its relationship with mutant p53 protein expression (BTCC) and apoptosis. Methods: Immunohistochemical SP method and TUNEL method were used to detect 83 cases of BTCC and 11 normal bladder mucosa for P33ING1, p53 expression and cell apoptosis index (AI). Results: In 83 cases of bladder transitional cell carcinoma,P33ING1 protein positive expression rate was 59.03%,while in the normal bladder mucosa tissue WAS 90.9%. P33ING1 protein was correralted with expression of bladder transitional cell carcinoma tumor grade. P33ING1 protein expression and p53 protein expression was positively correlated (P0.05). AI and P33ING1 and p53 protein expression had no correlation. Conclusion: In bladder transitional cell carcinoma occurrence and development P33ING1 plays an importantrole. Comined detection of P33ING1 and p53 is helpful for the diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of BTCC.
