Adhering to and Maintaining the Basic Economic System of the Primary Stage of Socialism

Keeping public ownership as the mainstay of the economy and allowing diverse forms of ownership to develop side by side is the basic economic system of the primary stage of socialism in our country.The practice has proven that this basic economic system is fit for the requirement of productivity development in the primary stage of socialism and able to promote the development of productivity.We should cherish,adhere to and maintain it in the entire primary stage of socialism.We must neither adopt the way of privatization,nor adopt the unitary public ownership.To theoretically distinguish the basic economic system from privatization and unitary public ownership is one of the important contents of the ideological construction of our party.
