Clinical Research on Treatment of PD by Kongpa Decoction Combining with Madopar

Objective: To observe the effect of Kongpa Decoction combining with Madopar treating the PD. Method: 60patients of the PD were divided into control group and treatment group equivalently. The patients of control group were only given Madopar tablet. The patients of treatment group were given Kongpa Decoction and Madopar tablet. The periods of two groups were 3 months. Reslut: After treatment,the scores of single symptom and the Webster scores of treatment group were lower than those of the control group,especially to the symptoms of shimmy and tetany. The effective rate of treatment group was 90%,significantly higher than the rate of control group. Also treatment group had no significant adverse reaction. Conclusion: Kongpa Decoction combining with Madopar can improve symptoms and the quality of life of PD and has no significant toxicity.
