A rough discussion on the cultivation of graduate students of social science ——Also on the reform of academic degree system

The academic degree system of China needs reform and the cultivation of doctors should be strengthened; the mode of cultivation should vary according to different disciplines as social science are of its own characteristics; the cultivation of graduate students should emphasize on enrollment, curriculum, academic activities, issue selection, issue discussion and paper writing. As to doctors, the requirements should be further and higher and the focus should be on cultivating leaders of specific discipline.
