Abstract
With the adjustment of the national economic and social development strategies,China's demand on high -level talents is growing rapidly. As a result,both undergraduate and gaduate students’ enrollment has been increasing almost every year. In 2012 the number of graduate students in our country reached 517,000, which has put some colleges to our graduate students’ education. This paper,briefly analyzed the problems, and put forward some solutions. The focus of the discussion is on the role of supervisors in the cultivation and development of graduate students’ innovative abilities in doing research work.
