University teachers' scientific misconduct exists extensively.The generalization of scientific misconduct leads to the loss of academic reputation.It is limited to prevent and cure scientific misconduct by emphasizing the academic reputation.To prevent and cure scientific misconduct,we must rebuild the values and the institution assurance system.The core idea of value rebuilding is academic responsibility and the scientific ethos,the main measures are to improve the academic awareness of integrity,to strengthen academic conscience as well as advocate morals practice.The key concept of system assurance is social control theory,and the major measures lie in academic community control,organization control,legal control as well as the control of public opinion.Scientific misconduct needs to be cured and prevented comprehensively.It also needs to construct a kind of equal,free and autonomous environment.
