Research on Current Situation of Gymnastics Teaching in Middle Schools of Shandong

According to the actual standards of physical education evaluation, preliminary evaluation of gymnastics teaching was made in middle schools of Shandong. And existent problems were analyzed as well. Finally, based on the practical situation of Shandong province the following suggestions were put forward: 1) The leaders concerned should improve their ideological understanding. 2) The teaching contents should be adjusted and the teaching hours should be increased. 3) The level of gymnastics skill of the physical education teachers themselves should be improved. 4) Gymnastics teaching reform in physical education colleges and departments should face the practice of the vast middle schools.
