Investigation and Analysis of Present Gymnastics Teaching Status in Middle Schools of Zhejiang Province

The present gymnastics teaching status in middle schools of Zhejiang province was investigated and analyzed by applying the methods of questionnaire and informal discussion. The results indicated that there was an obvious tendency of decline in attaching importance to gymnastics teaching in middle schools of Zhejiang province. Most of the schools are lack of fields, equipment, facilitiesand funds, except the key middle schools. The guiding teaching programs and plans couldn’t be carried out and the teaching contents of gymnastics couldn’t be assured. In addition, there often happened sports injury accidents in gymnastics teaching. In allusion to the current status and gymnastics teaching prospect opinions and suggestions of thinking much of and promoting gymnastics teaching were put forward to arouse the attention of the functional departments and schools concerned.
