Effects of losartan on blood pressure in hypertensive patients and blood uric

Objective:Observation and treatment of essential hypertension losartan hyperuricemia and uric acid lowering effect of antihypertensive.Methods:120 cases of hypertension and hyperuricemia were randomly divided into treatment and control groups were observed before and after administration of blood pressure and blood uric acid changes.Results:The two groups of patients after 8 weeks of treatment systolic and diastolic blood pressure before treatment was significantly (P0.01),antihypertensive efficacy between the two groups no statistically significant difference (P0.05) ;after 8 weeks of treatment group compared with before treatment,serum uric acid concentration significantly different (P0.01),while the control group after 8 weeks of treatment compared with the serum uric acid concentrations before treatment were no significant differences (P0.05).Conclusions:Losartan reduces blood pressure in patients with hyperuricemia and blood pressure,serum uric acid levels,hyperuricemia in hypertensive patients is safe to use Losartan.
