Abstract
Cotton fabric was treated with the mixture of glutaraldehyde and hydrolyzed starch in the crease-resistant finishing of the fabric. The influence of the hydrolyzed time of starch, the dosage of glutaraldehyde and catalyst, baking temperature and time on the fabric crease recovery angle, strength retention and whiteness was discussed comprehensively through orthogonal experiment. The starch was hydrolyzed for 90 min,the concentration of glutaraldehyde and catalyst MgCl2·6H2O was 70g/L and 25g/L respectively, baking temperature was 140℃,and baking time was 3 min.Under this conditions, the crease recovery angle reached at 280°,the strength retention was 61.3﹪,and whiteness value was 71.2.
