Abstract

This essay introduces a method to design a longway information management system by GSM Short Message Service (SMS), to devise its database system and build the application server. The result helps to establish population investigation system for the various departments and SMS based Information On Command. The peculiarity of this system is it's good expansibility and cheapness. The normal Mobile Phone is the client and the server was composed of a normal PC or a special server and a GSM controller.
