Research on Local Normal Universities Scientific Research Paper Output in Bibliometrics

Based on scientific research paper output as the research object,we can analyze some problems in the development of local normal universities research. Using CNKI periodical database and Web of Science network to a local normal university in 2003-2012 years,we carried on the statistical analysis to the number of research papers published changes,subject distribution,cited frequency,core authors,fund support,and degree of cooperation. Results show that the research papers published growth show a trend of fluctuations; paper output discipline is different; paper quality improvement is slow; paper remains to be strengthen cooperation degree,the team still needs to expand; papers funded benefits remain to be improved. Then from two levels of teachers and schools,we analyze the influencing factors of local colleges and universities scientific research paper output. Finally from the teacher group,management system,school planning we put forward the strategies about the development of the local normal colleges scientific research.
