Abstract
Taking (NH 4) 2HPO 4 as a matrix modifier,a method for determination of trace silver in geochemical samples by Zeeman graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry was studied. The proposed method simplified the procedure for sample processing.Satisfactory results were obtained in determination of trace silver in geochemical reference and practical samples. The recovery was in the range of 91.2%~99.8% while the relative standard deviation was in the range of 6 5%~7 7%.The proposed method is quick, simple and accurate.
