Abstract
Cyclohexene was prepared using iodine catalyst as dehydration catalyst. The effect of catalyst amount, temperature and reaction time on the dehydration reaction and the problem of comparing different catalyst activity were investigated. The results showed that iodine was the good catalyst for the synthesis of cyclohexene. The optimal conditions for the reaction were amount of catalyst 6.2%,reaction temperature 80~90 ℃,reaction time 4 h,the yield was 68.39%.
