Abstract

Objective To investigate the status of beta-lactamase genes and outer membrane protein gene in 30 strains of Pseudomonas aeruginosa(PA) isolated from clinical samples,so as to provide theoretical evidence for rational use of antibiotics in clinic. Methods Totally 30 strains of PA isolated from clinical samples were collected.Slip diffusing method was applied to performing drug susceptibility test, and polymerase chain reaction(PCR) assay and sequence analysis were adopted to investigate 20 kinds of beta-lactamase genes(TEM,SHV,OXA-1 group,OXA-10 group,PER, GES,VEB,CARB,IMP,VIM,SPM,GIM,SIM and DHA) and outer membrane protein genes (OprD2).Results The positive rate of TEM,CARB and deletion of OprD2 gene was 93.3%(28/ 30),3.3%(1/30) and 96.7%(29/30) respectively. No other beta-1 actamase gene was detected. Conclusion There is a higher positive rate(over 90%) of beta-lactamase genes and outer membrane protein gene deficiency in Pseudomonas aeruginosa in Yantaioistrict.
