Abstract

Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy and safety of the combination of calcipotriol and halometasone in the treatment of plaque psoriasis. Methods One hundred and twenty patients were divided into three groups.Treatment group used calcipotriol once in the morning and halometasone once in evening. The control groupⅠonly used calcipotriol twice a day.The control groupⅡonly used halometasone twice a day. Four weeks later compared the effectiveness of each group. Results The efficiency of treatment group (81.58%) was significantly higher than that in calcipotriol group(62.86%) and halometasone group (60.00%) after 4 weeks(P0.05).Safety date showed the frequency of adverse events in the treatment group was low. Conclusion The sequential therapy of calcipotriol and halometasone is effective and safe.
