Abstract
Objective: To observe the efficacy of MEBO in treating wounds after surgical operation. Method: Wounds after surgical operation were treated randomly with MEBO and iodine tincture respectively. The efficacy was compared. Result: MEBO is superior to iodine tincture. It has good pain relieving and anti infective effects. The wound healing time was shortened. The wounds healed without scar formation and only slight pigmentation. MEBO has no adverse effect. Conclusion: MEBO is a good remedy for treating wounds after surgical operation.
